t V, our award-winning Great British Rum is crafted entirely from scratch at our Hampshire distillery. Every drop is guided through five carefully considered stages, transforming British molasses into a spirit defined by character, balance and depth.
Molasses
It starts with the raw material. We use British-refined molasses, forming the foundation of our rum’s rich, distinctive flavour.
Yeast
Yeast is where character begins. Beyond fermentation, it plays a crucial role in shaping the early flavour profile, long before distillation.
Fermentation
This is where everything comes together. Time, temperature and control allow the ingredients to develop complexity, laying the groundwork for the final spirit.
Distillation
Distillation is a craft, not a process on autopilot. It’s a series of precise, real-time decisions that refine and define the spirit’s character.
Maturation
Great rum should never be rushed. Time and balance matter more than force, we allow the spirit to develop naturally, drawing out depth and smoothness over time.
