V Spirits Company Limited Achieves Certified B Corporation Status, Reinforcing Its Commitment to Sustainability

Eastleigh, Hampshire – June 24th 2026

V Spirits Company Limited, producers of the award-winning, British rum brand V Rum, is proud to announce it has achieved certified B Corporation status, a major milestone in its sustainability story.

The distillery, based in Eastleigh, Hampshire, joins a global community of businesses that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.

B Corp certification marks a significant milestone in V Spirit’s journey to redefine what a modern spirits business can be, proving that premium quality and commercial success can go hand in hand with responsible business practices.

Carl Churchill, CEO and Co-Founder of V Spirits Company Limited, said:

“Achieving B Corporation certification is an incredible milestone for our business, and one of the proudest moments in our journey so far. This certification recognises the work our team has put into ensuring sustainability, accountability and responsible growth are embedded throughout our business – and epitomises our commitment to continually improving and holding ourselves to the highest standards.”

V Rum – V Spirits Company Limited’s flagship British rum brand – was built on a simple belief: that Great British Rum should be crafted with purpose, care and authenticity. Since launching, V Rum has embedded sustainability into all aspects of its operations, with their B Corp certification reflecting a number of their sustainability initiatives, including:

  • Introducing bespoke bottles made from 100% recycled UK glass
  • Operating a distillery powered by renewable electricity and bio-gas
  • Using labels produced from recycled sugarcane and hemp materials

Nicole Churchill, COO, and Co-Founder of V Spirits Company Limited, said:

“We founded V with the ambition of creating an exceptional British rum brand, but we also wanted to build a business that contributes positively to people, communities and the environment. We’re delighted to join a community of businesses using their success as a force for good.”

Johnny Neill, Managing Director of V Spirits Brands Limited, added:

“As consumer expectations continue to evolve, we believe businesses have a responsibility to look beyond products alone and consider their wider impact. Our B Corp certification reinforces our commitment to making decisions that benefit customers, employees, suppliers, local communities and the environment.”

The achievement of B Corp certification comes during an exciting period of growth for V Spirits Company Limited, following the launch of V Dark Rum, securing a retail listing in selected Waitrose & Partners stores, and a number of strategic distribution channels.
